PALS Provider (Initial) with BLS

Course Description
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course is the AHA preferred course for Experienced Providers. The PALS Provider Course includes Precourse Work that must be complete before class. BLS Provider/Renewal is included with this course.

Prerequisites
Must be proficient in BLS skills AND complete the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work through eLearning.heart.org/course/426. Please allow 3-4 hours to complete the Precourse.

CE/CME/CEU
There will be 2.5 hours of CE credit awarded to those who are in healthcare professions that qualify (2.75 hours for EMS personnel) for completing the Precourse Work.

Certification
American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard and BLS Provider eCard (both valid for 2 years) will be issued upon sucessful completion of the course. 

Manual
A current edition of the American Heart Association PALS Provider Manual or ebook is REQUIRED to attend class. The manual/ebook is sold separately and not included in the cost of the course.
