Class Description: American Red Cross BLS certification is designed to train Healthcare Providers to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for adult, child, and infant victims with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes.
Class Format: Blended Learning
Duration: Up to 2 hr class session + up to 2 hr online
Certification: 2 year American Red Cross BLS certificate & First Aid certificate
Online Course: This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. Online course access will be in the confirmation email after registration is complete.
First Aid Certificate: 2-year Red Cross First Aid certification may be added to the BLS class. Participants who add First Aid must complete an online course before class to get certified. The online course link will be provided in your confirmation email. The in-class First Aid skills session takes about 10 minutes and will be at the end of the BLS class.
